Information
The GB7CD is a 70cms voice repeater located just outside Cardiff City Centre, and provides local Radio Hams coverage with Dstar Mode.
The Computer is a Homebrew System running Lunix, Centos and is connected through a 100 Meg Internet Connection to allow APRS and Internet Traffic through.
The computer system will be updated as new software and services are released.
The GB7CD is a very active repeater with a forward thinking group of Radio operators interested in local and worldwide communication.
The Repeater Keeper is Steve GW6CUR.
The Repeater system is Founded by Brian GW6WTK
To access the repeater check the access page on the top menu, and to check to see if your in the coverage area, click the coverage tab at the top of the page.
Dv Dongle users will also be accessing this system, as well as local reflectors and mobile / home station within the footprint of GB7CD.
